// What, what, WHAT is going on?//
It’s been forever since I’ve been able to sit down and write here. I’ve been working a ton of hours at Kohl’s and am in the market for a second part time job.
You can thank the price of grad school for that one. Well, let’s just think about grad schoolapplicationsbefore we even think about paying for the whole things.
I’ve been pretty decent with headaches though. I’m expecting one to crop up soon because I started to get cramps today, and that usually means that I’ll be getting a headache in at least some capacity soon.
I went to an open house today at Montclair State University’s Graduate School. That’s one of the programs I’ll be applying to.
Then I work Monday through Wednesday and Saturday. Why not Thursday and Friday? Well that would be because I’ll be in New York working as a film extra! That’s right! I got a part as an extra in a movie (like a legitimate movie!) so I’ll be filming for two days somewhere in New York. I’m supposed to get specifics tomorrow.
I’m pretty darn excited about that.
In other news, I spent last weekend up in Connecticut because two of my close friends got married. I was in the wedding party and it was a blast. The day was great and everything went off without a hitch. It was fantastic and I’m incredibly happy for them.
(It does remind me that I’m alone… and a family friend from our church told my mom she has a nice Greek boy for me. My mom said “You do know Rachel is going to hit you for that, right?” hahah)
But fun was had and there was happiness, so it’s all good.
And I went to see A Chorus Line at Paper Mill with my mom last night and that was a ton of fun as well.
The second job I applied for is actually at Paper Mill working the phones, so we’ll see if that pans out hah.
I’ve gotten a bulk of my application process done, what’s standing in my way now are the essays. Ugh.
I have my personal statement from last year, but some of the schools want me to answer specific questions within my essay, so those are going to take a bit more time to craft. I’m really not looking forward to doing this all over again. And playing the waiting game all over again.
Well, I’m going to get back to watching this episode of Supernatural so I can call it a night. Work tomorrow morning! :)
